We begin our hustle as soon as the alarm goes off and continue until we return to bed.

Whether we struggle to get out of bed or arrive at work tired and sleepy, we don’t always feel active and energetic. 

If you are having difficulty maintaining your energy levels throughout the day, there are numerous things you can do to feel energised and active.

Wake up early

Rise early in the morning to ensure that you complete all your tasks on schedule and don’t arrive at work late. You’ll always be content and energised if you get enough sleep.

Drink water

As soon as you wake up, drink water. It gives you the necessary hydration to start the day right. Sleepiness and fatigue are caused by dehydration. You can feel more alert and your organs are stimulated by drinking water.

Meditation or exercise

Every morning, spend 15 to 30 minutes practising meditation or mindfulness exercises. Yoga and brisk walking improve both mood and energy levels.

Have a healthy and nutritious breakfast

Eating a healthy and nutritious breakfast in the morning is essential for maintaining energy throughout the day and increasing inner strength. Do not leave the house without having breakfast.

Stay away from phones

People nowadays have a habit of opening their mobile phones and laptop computers as soon as they wake up. Avoid screens and technology for one hour after you wake up. This will reduce stress and allow you to start the day with a clear mind.

Set goals

Setting goals is essential for getting the day started right. This increases both physical and mental strength. Whatever you do during the day, record it in your diary.

Listen to music

After waking up, listen to music that relaxes your mind. Don’t listen to loud songs. If you enjoy listening to bhajans, continue to do so. If you are in the mood for romantic love songs, then listen to them.
