Topping the chart is samosa -- a snack popular across the country. After all, what's better than biting into a biting hot samosa with some chutney on the side while it pours outside.
Kanda Bhaji or onion pakoda is a flavourful mix of onions, coriander, and spices. Although savoured across the country, this may just be most popular in Maharashtra and West Bengal where it's called 'piyaji'.

Crispy and full of flavours, aloo tikki is one street-style snack that's irresistible. Aloo tikki is enjoyed in various combinations including kurkure aloo tikki, dal aloo tikki, and chole aloo tikki.
Corn cobs grilled in charcoal has to be the most iconic monsoon snacks ever. All you need is an ear of corn, some chilli powder, lemon juice, and salt, and you're sorted.
There's barely a spicier combination for monsoon that a bowl of super hot and spicy Maggi noodles and a cup of tea.
For those not onboard the hot and spicy bandwagon, dal vada is a good option for the monsoon, especially if it comes with some chai.
