7 Repotting Tips for Indoor Plants

Producer:   Riya Ashok

Select a pot with a diameter that is 1-2 inches bigger than the existing one.

Invest in a premium potting mix that is appropriate for the kind of plant you have.

Before repotting, give your plant a day or two of water.

To dislodge the plant and roots, gently tap or squeeze the old pot's sides.

Look for any rot, illness, or overcrowding indications in the roots.

Fresh potting soil should be layered at the bottom of the new pot, then place the plant in the middle.

Water the plant well after repotting to let the soil settle and get rid of any air bubbles.
