Tehri
After cooking the meat, veggies and rice separately, layer them in a large handi and seal them. Cook it on a low flame and serve with raita.
Awadhi Biryani
Saute peas with cumin and grated ginger. Now, pressure cook them with soaked rice. Serve it with leftover dal or boondi ka raita.
Matar Pulao
Pressure cook soaked moong dal and rice. Temper it with ghee, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, and hing.
Khichdi
This dish is prepared with jaggery or sugar and long-grain rice. You can also add saffron and dry fruits to amp up the taste.
