This creamy pudding is made with barley, milk, jaggery, or sugar and is often flavoured with cardamom and garnished with nuts.
Roast barley flour with ghee, and a sweetener like sugar or jaggery until fragrant. Add milk or water gradually and stir until it thickens into a fudge-like consistency. Flavor it with cardamom, garnish with nuts, and serve.
Stir together barley, oats, walnuts, coconut, cranberries, brown sugar, cinnamon, and dates in a large bowl. Add honey, coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Transfer the mix to a food processor and pulse until all ingredients are chopped and stick together. Bake it for some time.
Simmer barley with coconut milk and flavour it with fragrant cardamom. Sweeten it with jaggery or sugar.
