Grilled, fried, or stuffed, you can have a paratha for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or as a snack. Here are seven yummy paratha recipes in under 20 minutes.
Saada Paratha Knead a dough with whole wheat flour, cover it, and leave it to rest. Make smooth and round balls of a small portion of the dough. Roll it into a round with a rolling pin. Fold it in the shape of a triangle and roll it out again. Heat the griddle, place the paratha, apply some ghee, and cook from both sides. Enjoy it with mint chutney, curd, or pickle.
Aloo Paratha Prepare potato filling with boiled potatoes, coriander, chillies, and a few spices. Now, fill this mix in a dough and roll it out. Heat the griddle, place the paratha, apply some ghee, and cook from both sides.
Beetroot Paratha Replace the potato filling with beetroot. Serve fresh and hot with some pickle or a generous amount of curd as a dip.
Multigrain Paratha Combine jowar flour, ragi flour, soya flour, fenugreek seeds, ajwain, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt to knead soft dough. Divide the dough into equal parts and roll out each portion. Heat a non-stick griddle and cook each portion one after another in a little oil until golden brown.
Sattu Ka Paratha Take flour in a bowl and add salt, ajwain, kalonji, ghee, and knead it. For stuffing, add sattu, ajwain, salt, ginger garlic paste, green chilli, and red chilli powder to a bowl. Add onion, lemon juice, achar masala, mustard oil and coriander leaves. Mix well. Now, roll out parathas with this stuffing and cook on a non-stick griddle.
Paneer Paratha Grate paneer and add finely chopped green chillies, coriander, onion, and spices. Prepare a dough by kneading wheat flour with water as required. Take a small portion of the dough and roll it out. Add a spoonful of the paneer filling and seal it from all the sides. Flatten and roll out again. Cook it on a non-stick griddle with ghee.
Onion Garlic Paratha Heat oil in a pan. Add onion, garlic, and cumin powder. Saute it well. Remove it from the flame and add green chilli, garam masala, and coriander leaves. Use this stuffing to fill your parathas and enjoy your meal.
