As the temperatures rise, nothing beats the cool, flavorful kick of raita. This traditional yogurt-based dish is the perfect accompaniment to spicy dishes. Here are some easy to make raita recipes you can try.
Grate or finely chop cucumber and mix it with yougurt. Add roasted cumin powder, salt, and chopped mint leaves. For extra flavour, temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves, and red chili.
Add chopped mint leaves and green chili to smoothly whisked yogurt. Sprinkle in the roasted cumin powder and salt, then mix thoroughly.
Combine the plain yogurt and honey. Add diced pineapple, mango, and pomegranate seeds. For added flavour, sprinkle a pinch of chaat masala.
Mix chopped onion and green chili to smoothly whisked yogurt. Sprinkle it with red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, and salt.
Combine chopped tomato and minced garlic with yogurt. Sprinkle in the roasted cumin powder and salt.
Add diced fruits like apple, grapes, and pomegranate seeds and a handful of chopped nuts like almonds, cashews, and pistachios to yogurt. Sweeten with a drizzle of honey.
Mix grated beet and carrot with smooth yogurt. Season it with salt, roasted cumin powder, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
Blend mint leaves into a paste and mix with the yogurt. Combine pineapple chunks and add a pinch of chaat masala, black salt, and a dash of honey for sweetness.
