7 Tips for Watering Indoor Plants Properly

Producer:  Riya Ashok

Instead of watering your plant every two days, learn how often it requires water.

Generally speaking, if the top layer of soil is dry, the plant could use some additional water.

The plant likely needs water if the leaves appear to be hanging limp.

After you have just watered your plant, lift it and feel how heavy it feels to determine if it has received enough water.

It's probably time to switch if you've been using a certain water for a while and it doesn't seem to be keeping your plants healthy.

Refill your watering can after each use, then set it aside until you need to water again.

You can determine how much water is appropriate by keeping track of how much you use over time.
