Air India posted the first image of their aircraft with the new livery and logo.
The new logo and colour palette were announced as part of the company’s rebranding process this year.
The logo gives a modern spin to the iconic 'Maharajah'.
The updated colour scheme includes hues of red, white, and purple.
Despite a fresh and unusual typeface, the colour palette keeps with the iconic red of Air India.
There is a large red patch that stands out against the white letters 'Air India' on the underbelly of the aircraft.
In the top-right area, next to the windows, the airline also displays the name Air India.
Certain aesthetic adjustments were made to the tail design too.
The new design is in line with Air India’s extensive transformation strategy.
The airline has already signed a deal for 470 aircraft with Boeing and Airbus.
