CSK’s Matthew Hayden took it home in 2009 with 572 runs.
Sachin Tendulkar's 618 runs ruled the table in 2010.
RCB’s Chris Gayle with 618 runs was handed over the cap in 2011.
Gayle won it once again in 2012 . He scored 733 runs for RCB.
Michael Hussey was the top-run scorer in 2013.
In 2014, KKR’s Robin Uthappa hit 660 runs to lead the Orange Cap table.
David Warner was the highest scorer in 2015 with 562 runs for SRH.
Next year, it was Virat Kohli. He scored 973 runs.
Warner won his second Orange Cap in 2017 with 641 runs for SRH.
SRH’s Kane Williamson was the top scorer of the 2018 season with 735 runs.
Warner took the Orange cap home for the 3rd time. He hit 692 runs in 2019.
KL Rahul, with 670 runs, became the highest scorer in 2020.
Ruturaj Gaikwad was the leading run-getter in CSK’s title-winning 2021 season.
England’s Jos Buttler notched 863 runs to bag the Orange Cap in 2022.
Shubman Gill hit 890 runs in the last IPL to top the batting charts.
