Afghanistan Claim Historic ODI Win Against South Africa

Afghanistan kicked off their ODI series against South Africa with an emphatic triumph.

They claimed a 6-wicket win against the Proteas at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

This marked the Afghan side’s maiden ODI victory against South Africa.

Batting first, South Africa had posted 106.

Wiaan Mulder (52 off 84 balls) was the highest scorer for the Proteas.

Fazalhaq Farooqi bagged 4 wickets in the 1st ODI.

Afghanistan reached the target with 144 balls to spare

Gulbadin Naib remained unbeaten on 34 off 27 deliveries.
