Countdown for launch of Chandrayaan-3 has begun

Lift-off will be carried out from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota

It will be launched by LVM3 rocket which has been renamed 'Bahubali'

It weighs 642 tons. Cost of the Moon mission is said to be Rs 615 crore

Aim is to land softly on lunar surface and explore it with a rover

Successful landing will make India fourth country to achieve the feat
