Directed by Greg Berlanti, Fly Me To The Moon will release on July 12.
The film stars Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum in lead roles.
It is a comedy-drama set during NASA’s historic Apollo 11 moon landing in 1968.
Johansson portrays Kelly Jones, a marketing specialist hired to fix NASA’s public image.
While Tatum will be seen playing Cole Davis, NASA’s moon mission launch director.
Kelly’s mission to popularise moon landing clashes with Cole’s beliefs.
Kelly is also tasked with a “back-up” moon landing if the real mission fails.
Many believe moon landings were falsified so the film loosely reflects these long-standing conspiracy theories.
Woody Harrelson stars as Moe Berkus, a key figure at NASA.
Nick Dillenburg, Anna Garcia and Jim Rash are also part of the film.
