The first oversees auction, ahead of IPL 2024, will be held at the Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai on December 19, 2023 (Tuesday).
The Auction ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM IST. It can be watched live on Star Sports Network and on JioCinema.
A total of 333 players, including 214 Indian players, will go under the hammer. A max of 77 slots are available, with up to 30 being slotted for overseas players.
116 capped players will take part in the mini-auction, while 215 uncapped players will look to get a place in an IPL franchise.
Rs 2 crore is the highest reserve price, and 23 players have registered their names in the top bracket.
13 players are in the auction list with a base price of Rs 1.5 crore and 14 players registered their names in Rs 1 crore bracket.
Gujarat Titans will enter the auction with the highest auction purse – INR 38.15 crore while Lucknow Super Giants will go with the lowest – INR 13.15 crore.
Among the youngsters and newbies, all eyes will be trained on New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra, who has a modest base price of Rs 50 lakh.
