Aman Sehrawat Shatters PV Sindhu's Record With Bronze At Paris Olympics

Wrestler Aman Sehrawat has secured India’s sixth medal at the Paris Olympics.

The 21-year-old won bronze in the men’s 57kg freestyle wrestling.

Aman defeated Puerto Rico's Darian Cruz 13-5 in the third-place match.

The victory made Aman India’s youngest medal winner at the Olympic Games.

The Haryana-born wrestler celebrated his 21st birthday on July 16.

Before Aman, PV Sindhu was the youngest Indian to win an Olympic medal.

The Indian shuttler won silver at the age of 21 years, 1 month and 14 days.

Sindhu lost the women’s badminton final at the Rio Games in 2016.

Aman was India’s only male wrestler to feature at the Paris Olympics.

India has won a medal in wrestling in every Olympics since 2008.
