Bachchan, Ratan Tata, Tendulkar invited for consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir: Report

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has sent out 8,000 invitations for the consecration ceremony (Pran Pratistha) of 'Ram Lalla' at the upcoming Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 22, 2024, coinciding with the temple's inauguration.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be attending the ceremony, The Print reported.

Apart from saints, priests, shankaracharyas, religious leaders, invitations have been sent to film stars, industrialists, and sportspersons. Here’s a look at some of the dignitaries who have reportedly been invited.

Akshay Kumar

Sachin Tendulkar

Virat Kohli

Invites have also been sent to VVIPs including former civil servants, retired Army officers, lawyers, scientists, poets, musicians and Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan recipients via post and WhatsApp.
