Apple will continue to stick with Face ID tech for its next iPhone lineup.
New reports say that iPhone 16 models will not feature Touch ID as well.
As pointed out by a tipster, the company working on Touch ID has shut down.
This means Apple could be without the security feature on iPhones in the future.
Face ID has proved to be a secure and reliable feature since its debut with the iPhone x series.
Touch ID is now limited to the SE models that have been getting the iPhone 8-like design.
However, the next iPhone SE could see major design changes which could mark the end of Touch ID.
Apple does offer Touch ID on the iPads integrated into the power button like other brands.
Many people expected the company to do the same for iPhones as well.
