A stampede in the Naina Devi temple in Himachal Pradesh claimed the lives of nearly 150 devotees while 400 others were injured. As per reports, it was caused by a sudden downpour.

Nearly 350 devotees were killed at a religious fair at Mandher Devi temple near Wai in Satara district in western Maharashtra. More than 200 people were injured in the incident.
