Ashtami Special: How To Make Tasty Sukhe Kale Chane

Here's an easy and tasty recipe of making sukhe kale chane for Ashtami puja.

Ingredients Kala chana - 1 cup Hing - 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Coriander powder - 1 tsp Red chilli powder - 1 tsp Amchoor powder - 1 tsp Chaat masala - 1 tsp Ghee - 1 tbsp Salt/Sendha namak as per taste

Step 1 Soak kala chana overnight.

Step 2 Add kala chana to a pressure cooker. Add some water and a pinch of salt/sendha namak. Pressure cook the chana till 3-4 whistles.

Step 3 Take a pan, add ghee, and let it heat. Now, add hing and cumin seeds and let them sputter

Step 4 Now, add amchoor powder, chaat masala, coriander powder and red chilli powder.

Step 5 Now, add the boiled chana to this masala and adjust the salt/sendha namak according to the taste. Mix it well.

Step 6 Your Ashtami-special sukhe kale chane is ready. Serve them with sooji ka halwa and pooris.
