That was followed soon after by Virat Kohli bringing up his 47th ODI hundred, taking his international century tally to 77
Along the way, Virat Kohli broke another record, becoming the fastest batter to 13,000 ODI runs, getting there in 267 innings
The record, incidentally, had previously belonged to Kohli’s idol Sachin Tendulkar, who had taken 321 innings
Kohli and Rahul stitched an unbroken 233-run stand for the third wicket that helped India post a mammoth 356/2
