The 19th Asian Games haven't officially started as yet, with the opening ceremony taking place on 23 September
Some of the events however, got underway on Tuesday, 20 September, with Indians also in action
The India men’s football team were up against hosts China at the Huanglong Sports Centre Stadium
The Blue Tigers, though, had a forgettable outing, getting thrashed 5-1 with Rahul KP scoring their only goal of the evening
The Indian men’s volleyball team though, did give fans back home a reason to smile with a clinical 3-0 win against Cambodia
Women’s cricket also got underway, with debutants Mongolia getting bowled out for just 15 after being set 188 to win by Indonesia
