Counting of votes is underway in four states -- Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. Here's a look back at what happened in 2018
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), now Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), won 88 seats in the 119-member Assembly in 2018, giving Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao a landslide victory.
The TDP-Congress got a total of 21 seats (Congress 19, TDP 2). AIMIM, Asaduddin Owaisi's party, won seven seats. While, the Bharatiya Janata Party got only one seat.
In 2018, the Congress won 99 seats in Rajasthan, followed by the BJP, who won 73 seats.
The state registered a polling percentage of 74 per cent.
The Congress crushed Raman Singh's goal of a fourth term in Chhattisgarh by winning 68 seats in the 90-member Assembly in the 2018 elections.
The BJP had secured 15 seats.
The Congress briefly dethroned the BJP by winning 114 seats in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections in 2018. The BJP, on the other hand, was limited to 109 seats.
Only when Jyotiraditya Scindia rebelled and joined the BJP with his supporters did Shivraj Singh Chauhan become Chief Minister.
