Mouth Breathing

Breathing through the mouth instead of the nose can lead to dry mouth, bad breath. It also reduces the filtering of air, leading to increased risk of respiratory infections.

Shallow Breathing

Taking short, quick breaths that only fill the upper part of the lungs can cause poor oxygen exchange, increased stress levels, and heightened anxiety.

Breathing through the Chest

Using the chest muscles rather than the diaphragm for breathing can cause inefficient air exchange, and muscle tension in the neck and shoulders, leading to fatigue and stress.

Over Breathing (Hyperventilation)

Breathing more rapidly or deeper than necessary can lead to a decrease in carbon dioxide levels in the blood, causing dizziness, lightheadednes and anxiety.

Breath Holding

Holding breath disrupts the natural rhythm of  breathing, leads to an imbalance in oxygen and carbon dioxide levels, causing dizziness, headaches, and increased stress on the body.
