Bihar's Vaibhav Suryavanshi Creates New Record In List-A Cricket

Vaibhav Suryavanshi rewrote history on his debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

As part of the Bihar team, Vaibhav faced Madhya Pradesh on December 21.

Vaibhav is the youngest Indian player to feature in List A cricket.

The teenager achieved the feat at the age of 13 years and 269 days.

Vidarbha’s Ali Akbar created the previous record in the 1999-2000 season.

Akbar was 14 years and 51 days old on his List A debut.

Earlier this year, Vaibhav became the youngest to appear in first-class cricket.

The Bihar batter played his first Ranji Trophy game against Mumbai.

Vaibhav has also become the youngest player to secure an IPL contract.

Rajasthan Royals signed him for Rs 1.10 crore at the recent mega auction.
