BMW India has initiated bookings for the all-electric i5 vehicle.
Bookings are accepted online and at dealerships nationwide.
The i5 will be introduced in limited quantities as Completely Built-Up (CBU) model.
The deliveries will begin in May on a first-come first-served basis.
The BMW i5 comes in two variants: eDrive 40 and M60 xDrive.
The M60 xDrive offers impressive power, with electric motors on each axle.
The car's capability enables it to accelerate from 0-100 kph in just 3.8 seconds.
The M60 model includes BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive technology as standard.
i5 boasts a WLTP-certified range of up to 516 km on a single charge.
i5 M60 xDrive's price is yet to be disclosed. However, it is likely higher than its ICE counterpart.
