Back in 2009, Shah Rukh Khan in an interview to Zee News revealed that an Australian lady had been buying a piece of land for him on the moon every year on his birthday.
The SRK owned land is situated in the region known as the Sea of Tranquility.
According to India.com report, each acre, approximately 43,560 sq ft or 4,047 sq m, is valued at about $37.50 (Rs 1758.75), and the superstar has received multiple acres in that location as a gift.
Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in 2018 purchased a piece of land on the far side of the moon called the Mare Muscoviense or the ‘Sea of Muscovy.’
SSR, as per reports, spent approximately Rs 55 lakh to own a piece of land on the moon.
An astronomy enthusiast, SSR also owned an advanced telescope through which he purportedly checked out his property on the moon.
