Bring your favourite animals & birds to ‘life’ using your phone

Google added 3D and AR experience to Search that allows users to view their favourite animals, birds and objects in 3D and Augmented Reality when users search something.

To view 3D results: An Android phone with Android 7 and up and to interact with 3D results in AR: An Android phone that supports ARCore.

Open www.google.com or Google app on your phone.

Access Google

Search for an animal or bird by entering their name in the search field.

Look for 3D result option

Tap on the box to open the 3D view and then choose “View in your space” option

To bring the searched animal or bird into your space using the AR, focus your phone’s camera on an empty and plane surface.

You can also interact with it, resize, rotate and even hear their voices.

Land animals: Tiger, giant panda, leopard, goat, cheetah, pony, brown bear, timber wolf, Shetland pony, python, Arabian horse, raccoon, hedgehog, and deer.
