Reportedly, he lost control of the vehicle and fell onto the streets.
A patrolling police officer found Suga and took him to the police station.
A breathalyzer test confirmed high levels of alcohol in his blood.
The BTS member is being charged for violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving).
He was fined for breaking the law and his license was revoked.
BTS’ record label BigHit Music issued a statement apologising for the incident.
“Nobody was hurt, and no property damage occurred” they confirmed.
Suga also issued an apology for his “careless and wrong actions”.
The singer is currently enlisted for military training as a social service agent.
