Canada batted first at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.

They lost both openers Aaron Johnson and Navneet Dhaliwal by the 5th over.

Nicholas Kirton rescued the innings with a 35-ball 49.

Kirton was helped with a 37-run supporting knock from Shreyas Movva.

Ireland’s Craig Young and Barry McCarthy took 2 wickets each.

Canada finished the innings with 137 runs.

Ireland struggled with the chase, losing 5 wickets by the 10th over.

George Dockrell and Mark Adair scored 30-plus runs each.

However, Jeremy Gordon and Dillon Heyliger ensured Ireland did not cross 125 runs.
