Dahi aloo is a great option to relish if you are done with fried aloo during Navratri fasting. Here's a step-by-step guide to prepare tasty vratwale dahi aloo at home this Navratri.
Ingredients Ghee - 2 tbsp Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp Black Pepper (crushed) - 1 tsp Potato (Boiled) - 2 Sendha Namak - 1/2 tsp Ghee - 1 tsp Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp Green Chilly, chopped - 2 Ginger - 1 tsp Peppercorn (crushed) - 1/2 tsp Buckwheat Flour - 2 tsp Dahi - 1 cup Water - 1 cup
Step 1 Take ghee in a pan, and heat for a while.
Step 2 Add cumin seeds. Saute well. Now, add crushed black pepper to it and saute.
Step 3 Put the boiled potato into the pan and add sendha namak to it. Pan-fry the potatoes thoroughly.
Step 4 In another pan, add ghee, cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger, and crushed peppercorns.
Step 5 Saute them well and add buckwheat flour. Mix the ingredients well.
Step 6 Pour a cup of Dahi into the mixture followed by a cup of water.
Step 7 Whisk it well. Now, add the fried aloo to the mixture and mix well.
Step 8 Serve with light garnishing of green chillies.
