Cheteshwar Pujara 4th Indian to Score 20,000 Runs in FC Cricket

Cheteshwar Pujara has completed 20,000 runs in his First-class cricket career

The India cricketer achieved the feat during a Ranji Trophy 2023-24 match between Saurashtra and Vidarbha

Pujara scored 43 in the first innings and 66 in the second dig to get to the milestone

He now has scored 20,013 runs in 259 FC matches including 61 centuries and 78 half-centuries

7,195 of these runs have been scored while playing Test cricket for India

Pujara is the 4th ever India cricketer to hit 20,000 runs or more in first-class history

Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid are the other India legends to have done so

In the first round of Ranji Trophy this season, Pujara had scored his 17th first-class double-century

He's joint-fourth on the list of most FC double-hundreds after Don Bradman (37), Wally Hammond (36) & Patsy Hendren (22)

Pujara has also scored three triple-centuries in his storied FC career so far
