Citigroup on Friday January 12 announced that it will cut 20,000 jobs over the next two years. But it is not just Citigroup who announced layoffs in 2024. Take a look at the companies who are looking at job cuts.

INMOBI

Adtech firm InMobi has decided to cut 5% of its global workforce, sources told CNBC-TV18. Around 125 employees of the 2,500-strong workforce may be affected.

GOOGLE

Google said it is laying off hundreds of employees across multiple teams, with Fitbit co-founders James Park and Eric Friedman also leaving the company.

Amazon, in a memo to its employees on January 10, announced its decision to implement significant layoffs across its Prime Video and MGM Studios divisions.

twitch

Amazon's live streaming site Twitch is poised to cut 35% of its staff, or about 500 workers, amid concerns over losses at Twitch.

x corp

X’s owner X Corp has slashed its global trust and safety staff by 30% including an 80% reduction in the number of safety engineers.

unity software

Videogame software provider Unity Software will target laying off approximately 25% of its workforce, or 1,800 jobs, the company said in a regulatory filing.

xerox

Digital printing company Xerox has announced the firm will be cutting 15% of its workforce this quarter as part of a new operating model and organisational structure.
