Citroen has officially unveiled the all-new Basalt Vision coupe-SUV globally.
The name Basalt is inspired by volcanic rock, symbolising strength, and timeless serenity.
This elegant car is the fourth addition to Citroen’s C-Cubed series.
Basalt will be available in India in the second half of 2024.
The front fascia looks quite similar to the existing C3 and C3 Aircross.
A fully digital instrument cluster and a sizable touchscreen infotainment system are anticipated.
Electric ORVMs, linked automobile technology and automated climate control are other likely features.
Basalt could have the same 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine.
The SUV is expected to be priced at roughly Rs 8 lakh.
It will compete with the likes of the Maruti Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun and Kia Seltos.
