1 1/2 cups sliced paneer 1 tsp lemon juice 2 tsp ginger 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/4 tsp chilli powder Salt to taste
3/4 cup besan 2 tbsp rice flour 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp chilli powder 1/4 tsp garam masala 1/2 tsp carom seeds 1/4 tsp cumin seeds powder 1/2 tsp garlic paste Salt to taste A pinch of baking soda 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander Oil for frying
Combine the paneer, lemon juice, ginger, garlic, turmeric, chilli powder and salt in a deep bowl and toss gently. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai.
Dip each masala paneer slice in the prepared batter and drop them in hot oil, a few at a time.
Deep-fry on a medium flame till golden brown in colour from all the sides.
Serve the delicious paneer pakoda immediately with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
