Crispy Sabudana Vada Recipe For Chaitra Navratri

Chaitra Navratri is a nine-day festival during which people worship the nine forms of Goddess Durga, and also observe fast, as a way of purifying the body and mind. Here's an easy recipe to prepare crispy sabudana vada for Navratri fast at home.

Ingredients Sabudana (soaked) - 2 cups Salt to taste Roasted and crushed peanuts - 2 tbsp Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp Lemon juice - 2 tsp Green chillies - 2 Ghee - 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp

Step 1 Take soaked sabudana in a bowl.

Step 2 Add peanuts to it, along with green chillies, salt, chilli powder, boiled potatoes, coriander leaves and lemon juice.

Step 3 Mash and mix the ingredients thoroughly. Make small, round and tikki-like balls of the mixture.

Step 4 Deep fry these tikki-like balls in oil. Fry them until golden brown.

Step 5 Transfer them to a serving plate and serve with curd.
