Delhi Airport Introduces Self-Baggage Drop Facility; Check Details
Indira Gandhi International Airport has launched the Self-Service Bag Drop (SSBD) facility.
The service cuts the check-in time to just 30 seconds from one minute.
Delhi Airport is the first in the country to offer this service.
All you need to do is print passes and collect baggage tags at kiosks.
It eliminates the need for boarding passes or biometric validation.
Just collect and attach luggage tags at CUSS kiosks and voila.
The system automatically opens the respective airline's application after placing the luggage on a conveyor belt.
Check the self-declaration section and click on submit. That's all!
Currently, 50 SSBD units have been made operational across Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
These units are currently available with three airlines - Air India, IndiGo and Air India Express.
