2 cups plain flour 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1 cup soft butter 1/2 tsp vanilla essence 2 tsp cocoa powder
Ingredients
Sieve the flour and powdered sugar together, in a deep bowl.
Add the soft butter and vanilla extract. Mix well and knead into a smooth dough without using any water.
Divide the dough into two equal parts.
In one portion of the dough, add the cocoa powder and knead well until well combined.
Take a small portion of both the doughs and roll it lightly to make 2-inch diameter cookies.
Repeat the steps to make more cookies.
Place them all on a lined baking tray and bake them in a pre-heated oven at 180°C (360°F) for 20 minutes.
Cool and serve marble butter cookies immediately or store in an air-tight container and use as required.
