Ingredients
Fish - 1/2 kg
Tamarind juice - 1 bowl
Onion - 1
Tomatoes - 2
Ground coconut - 3 tbsp
Green chillies - 2
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Salt (according to taste)
Water (as required)
Curry leaves - 5 or 6
Ginger - 1 tsp
Clay pot to cook
Step 1
Take chopped fish in a bowl, add tamarind juice to it, and let it stay for 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 2
Heat the clay pot and pour the fish in it. Add chopped onions and tomatoes.
Step 3
Add ground coconut paste mixed with turmeric powder.
Step 4
Now, add green chillies and pour water into them.
Step 5
Season it with turmeric, chilli powder, and salt.
Step 6
Add curry leaves and finely chopped ginger. Bring it to a boil.
Step 7
Your no-oil fish curry is ready; enjoy it with steamed rice or chapatis.
