Delicious Lahori Kadhai Chicken Recipe

Ingredients Chicken, cut into pieces - 500 gm Oil - 2 tbsp Onion - 1 (chopped) Tomato - 2 (chopped) Green chillies - 5 (sliced) Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp Red chilli powder - 2 tsp Jeera - 1 tsp Haldi - 1 tsp Garam masala - 1 tsp Kasuri methi - 1 tsp Coriander powder - 1 tsp Yoghurt - 1/4 cup Salt (according to the taste) Coriander leaves (garnishing)

Step 1 Heat oil in a kadhai. Add jeera and allow it to splutter. Add chopped onions and saute until they become golden brown.

 Step 2 Now, add the ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes, and green chillies. Cook until the tomatoes become soft.

Step 4 Next, add chicken pieces and coat them well with the masalas.

Step 5 Cook on high heat until partially cooked. Reduce the heat and add the yoghurt.

Step 6 Give it a nice mix and simmer on low heat until the chicken is fully cooked.

Step 7 Once done, sprinkle kasuri methi and garam masala. Garnish with coriander leaves, and serve hot!
