Rasam is a popular South Indian dish, and there are many variations of it. Try this delicious lemon rasam recipe at home.
Ingredients Boiled arhar dal - 1/2 bowl Tomato, chopped - 1 Ginger, thinly sliced - 1 inch Green chillies, chopped - 2 Curry leaves - 2 springs Coriander leaves - 1 tsp Salt and sugar - As per taste Lemon - 1 Ghee - 1 tbsp Mustard seeds - 1 tsp Red chilli - 1 Water - As needed
Step 1 Boil tomato, ginger, green chillies, 2-3 springs of curry leaves, and coriander leaves
Step 2 Once it gets mushy, add boiled dal to it and adjust the salt and sugar.
Step 3 Add water to adjust the consistency of the rasam and boil.
Step 4 Prepare a tadka with ghee, mustard seeds, red chilli, and curry leaves, and add.
Step 5 Serve it hot.
