Caramel Custard is an easy pudding-like recipe that is now popular all over India. Here's a step-by-step guide to making this delicious caramel custard in the microwave at home.
Ingredients Sugar - 3/4 cup Water - 2 tbsp Eggs - 4 Cornflour - 2 tsp Milk - 2 cup Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Step 1 Place 1/4 cup sugar and water in a dish, and cook uncovered at HI for 2 minutes. Stir it well and cook for 4 minutes more until it turns dark brown.
Step 2 Beat eggs, cornflour, vanilla, and sugar together. Add the milk in a stream, beating all the time.
Step 3 Pour mixture into the dish and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning the pan halfway through.
Step 4 Cool, un-mould, and serve. You might have to adjust the time after trying once or twice.
