If you are someone who fancy desserts then the pineapple halwa recipe is a must-try. This recipe is not only easy to prepare but also offers a burst of tropical flavours.

250 gm almonds 150 gm ghee 150 gm khoya 15 gm cashews 250 gm pineapple 125 gm sugar 1/4 teaspoon green  cardamom powder

Ingredients

Start by washing the pineapple to make sure it’s clean. Then, peel the pineapple and chop it into small pieces. If you prefer, you can buy pre-cut pineapple from the store for convenience.

Next, heat some ghee in a sturdy pan over medium heat. Add the chopped pineapple to the pan and stir-fry it in the ghee. Keep cooking the pineapple over medium heat.

Start by boiling water in a pan. When the water is boiling, add the almonds and let them simmer for 2-3 minutes. Then, peel the skin off the almonds. After that, put the almonds in a blender and blend them until they become smooth.

Add almond paste to the pan and sauté the mixture. Slowly add the khoya to the mixture while stirring to avoid burning.

Once the mixture attains the consistency of a halwa, turn off the heat. Lastly, sprinkle and mix in the cardamom powder.

Garnish the halwa with chopped cashews and almonds. Serve while it’s still warm.
