Delicious South Indian Badam Halwa Recipe For Diwali Celebration

Ingredients

1 cup almonds 1 cup milk 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup ghee (1/4 + 1/4) 1 pinch saffron or yellow food colour 1 cardamom, powdered Kesar, a few strands

Start by soaking the almond in hot water, and peel it.

Grind this to a smooth paste with milk.

⁠Dump all the ingredients in a pan and half of the ghee and cook till it thickens.

Then add the remaining ghee gradually till it starts to leave the pan.

Wrap the halwa in a banana leaf and serve it hot.
