Delicious Soya Pulao Recipe

Soya pulao is a comfy and tasty rice bowl that can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner. Here's an easy recipe to prepare soya pulao at home.

01 Soya Chunks - 1 cup

02 Soaked Rice - 250 gm

03 Curd - 1/2 cup

04 Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp

05 Onion (chopped) - 1 (medium)

06 Tomato (chopped) - 1 (medium)

07 Green Chillies - 2 slit

08 Cardamom - 1

09 Green Cardamom - 2

10 Black Pepper - 8

13 Whole Red Chilli - 2

14 Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp

15 Coriander Powder - 2 tsp

16 Cumin Powder - 1 tsp

17 Turmeric - 1/2 tsp

18 Chicken Masala - 1 tsp- 1

19 Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp

20 Vegetable Oil - 1 tbsp

21 Salt - (According to the taste)

Soak soya chunks in hot water for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, squeeze the soya chunks out of the water and separate them.

Step 1

Take soya chunks in the vessel, add curd, red chili, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder and mix it well and keep it aside for some time.

Step 2

After 15 to 20 minutes, heat oil in a pressure cooker, add all the whole spices, and whole red chili, and fry for a few seconds.

Now, add chopped onion and fry for a few seconds.

Add marinated soya chunks with onions and fry for some time. After this add chopped tomatoes and green chilies and cook it till it becomes soft.

Step 5

Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric, and salt as per taste and cook everything well.

Step 6

Add the soaked rice to the spices, mix it well, and cover the pressure cooker with water as needed.

Step 6

After two whistles, turn off the gas, and after the pressure is released.

Step 6

Take out the prepared pulao in a serving bowl and serve it. Pair it with raita or chutney.
