Delicious Soya Tikka Pulao Recipe

Ingredients for Soya Marination

1 cup soya   2 tbsp thick yogurt   1 tbsp ginger garlic paste   1 tsp mustard oil   1/2 tsp turmeric powder   1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder   1 tsp coriander powder   1/2 tsp kasuri methi   1/2 tsp chaat masala powder   Salt, to taste

Ingredients for Pulao 

 1 tbsp ghee/oil    1/2 tsp cumin seeds    1 star anise     2-3 dry red chillies     1 bay leaf     1 medium onion, sliced     2 green chillies, slit     1 cup peas     1/2 tsp turmeric powder     2 cups rice, cooked    1 tbsp coriander, chopped    1 tbsp mint, chopped

Add soya chunks in hot water and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Squeeze out the water and mix it with other ingredients. Let it sit for 30 minutes.

Use a skewer and fire grill the soya chunks until done. Keep aside.

Heat ghee/oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, star anise and dry red chillies. Add onions and cook until slightly browned.

Add green chillies, green peas, turmeric powder and cook for around 2-3 minutes.

Add in cooked rice, soya tikka chunks, coriander, mint and mix it well. 

Cook for another minute and serve hot with curd or chutney.
