Delicious Sugar-free Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe

Gajar ka halwa is the quintessential treat that no one can ever resist. Here's a sugar-free quick and easy recipe to make gajar ka halwa at home.

Ingredients

01 Carrots - 10 (medium)

02 Ghee - 3 tbsp

03 Milk - 2 cup

04 Green cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp

05 Jaggery or any sugar substitute - 1/3 cup

06 Khoya - 1/4 cup (grated)

07 Pistachios - 10 (blanched and peeled)

Heat the pure ghee in a non-stick kadai. Add the grated carrots and sauté for about five minutes.

Step 1

Add the skimmed milk and cook.

Add the green cardamom powder, sultanas, and sugar substitute (if using) and mix. Cook for about ten to fifteen minutes.

Step 3

Add the khoya and mix. Cook till the mixture is almost dry. Garnish with pistachios.

Gajar ka halwa is ready. Serve it hot.
