Easy And Tasty Besan Barfi Recipe For Diwali

Ingredients: 1 cup ghee, 2 cups besan, 1 cup mawa, 1 ½ cup sugar, ¾ cup water, ½ tsp cardamom powder, saffron food colour

Heat ghee in a pan. Add besan and roast until golden brown and aromatic.

Cook for 20 minutes. Add mawa. Cook until ghee is released.

Take sugar and water in a kadhai. Make a sugar syrup to get a one-string consistency.

Add a pinch of food colour and cardamom powder to the mix.

Add the besan and mawa mixture to the syrup. Mix until smooth.

Transfer to a greased baking tray. Top with chopped dry fruits. Once cooled, cut it into pieces and serve.
