Easy Chettinad Chicken Recipe

500g chicken pieces, 2 onions, 2 tomatoes, 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 2 tbsp oil, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, Salt to taste
Masala Paste: 2 tbsp grated coconut, 2 tsp fennel seeds, 1 tsp black peppercorns, 1 tsp cumin seeds,
Masala Paste: 4 dried red chilies, 2 tsp coriander seeds, 4 cloves, 2 cardamom pods, 1-inch cinnamon stick
Dry roast masala paste ingredients and grind to a paste. Heat oil in a pan.
Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add tomatoes and cook until soft. Add chicken, turmeric, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add masala paste and mix well. Add water, cover, and cook until chicken is done.
Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice or roti.
