Easy South Indian Idli Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup split urad dal, 2 cups idli rice, 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds, 1/2 tsp salt, water
Soak:
Urad dal, rice, and fenugreek seeds in separate bowls for 8 hours.
Grind:
Blend urad dal with some water until smooth; grind rice separately until coarse.
Mix:
Combine both batters in a bowl; add salt.
Ferment:
Cover and let sit in a warm place for 12-24 hours
Steam:
Pour batter into idli molds; steam for 10-12 minutes.
Serve:
Enjoy with coconut chutney and sambar.
