Easy South Indian Sunday Chicken Recipe

Mix 500g chicken with salt, turmeric, chili powder, and yogurt. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.

Prepare Masala: Blend onions, garlic, ginger, and tomatoes into a smooth paste.

Heat Oil: In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and dried red chilies.

Cook Masala: Add the onion-tomato paste and cook until oil separates.

Add Spices: Mix in coriander powder, cumin, and garam masala.

Add Chicken: Add marinated chicken to the pan and cook until browned.

Simmer: Pour in 1 cup water, cover, and let simmer for 20-25 minutes until chicken is tender.

Garnish: Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves on top.
